The suggested parking locations for the Spirit of Washington is the Colonial Parking Garage at 7th street or 4th street SW. Families will need to walk the children down to Pier 4. If families would like to drop off scholars, there will be a chaperone at the top of WaterStreet to meet the scholars. Pick up will be at Pier 4 at the conclusion of the boat ride.
Students in this course will analyze and discuss current issues that deal with the world of science, technology. math, and engineering. Our goal is to teach our future scholars how to develop critical thinking skills utilizing the scientific method and deductive reasoning. We will explore STEM, and a diverse number of topics ranging from planetary science to physical science, plus everything in between.

- All Scientific Presentations must be relevant to the world of science and technology
- All Presentations must be 20 minutes in length and a maximum of 30 minutes
- Any Presentations that fail to meet the minimum required time limit will receive an automatic 10% deduction from their overall total score
